Same. He is a legitimate plus as a run defender and it’s also the most non-traditional good run defense I’ve ever seen. Rather than overpower his blocker to set the edge he instead just sheds and uses length and quickness to make tackles. Dude is a freak. He should not be able to do the things he can do.

I was kinda just hoping that his pass rush ability would offset the run defense and that we just would hope Luke could clean it up behind him after he got overpowered. Well I was way off on that.

      We only have 5 sacks which is dead last. Some teams have 20-30. Our pass rush is atrocious, worst in the league. That’s why we’re 22nd in scoring defense even with a shutout. That Atlanta game helps our rankings so much, but we’ll likely trend down over the season as it counts for 6% instead of 17%. Personally, the yardage numbers can be deceiving which is why I like scoring defense as a better representation. We of course look way better than last year but I wouldn’t consider it a top 10 defense yet.

      You mean he got crap in 2005 after taking us to the NFC Championship. I don't remember that honestly but am not saying that is it not true. But in either case do you think it was justified?

      Agree especially with BC at ROT I was thinking of this game primarily when I said that. They have been pretty good with adapting to different combinations this year. As far as it goes.
