Watt won DPOY on a 2-14 team. McCaffrey should win OPOY for us even if we go 5-11. And as far as shutting him down, Rivera will absolutely not do that. Not when he’s his only hope of keeping his job.

Well when you watch the Ravens massacre the Rams in prime time, and Lamar throws 5 touchdowns and has 100 yards rushing too,.. and their team looks like it could win the Super Bowl,..

it’s hard to argue against that.

CMC in a smaller market underperforming team...............will remain under the radar relatively speaking.

If this was 50 years ago before all the 24/7 sports nonstop reporting he wouldn't even be know to fans of the rest of the league.

This will earn me some poos, but whatever.

CMC's fantastic production at least partially stems from the fact that we are such a terrible offense.  If the offensive line could hold up and there were more talent at the wide receiver position, we'd be able to focus on spreading the ball around and trying to let vertical plays develop.

In other words, he's a great player, but the absurd level of production isn't necessarily indicative of a healthy offense on a bad team, which makes it tough to lobby for an MVP.
