This was on the interior DLine. The whole Defense is not devoid of talent!

dontari poe didnt play today and we gave up 250 yards to one of the worst offenses in the league. every player you said was average or good was on the field... there were also there with poe the other games where the run defense sucked. doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me!

As i said above Poe is only average but loosing him was a blow because we have no depth behind him. Ive never seen a rush d look this bad but imo it was mostly because we had guys playing interior that had no business being there. Keek stayed dirty all day. They didn't even need to pass 250 on the ground is alot...plenty really. Thanks for a intelligent reply.

Most people here are too f’ing lazy to actually analyze what’s happening on this team... you’re asking too much.

It ain’t rocket science, if our terrible d-line could stop the run, put offenses in long 3rd downs where we could utilize our strength at rushing the passer we would be much better.

you said everyone was average or good and our defense is clearly not average or good. either today or at any point in this season. the only times the defense has been good has been when teams refuse to run the ball, which it seems as if everyone has learned to do by now.

Not that he sucks. Just showed how great KK and Star were together. Plus he had TD playing next to him.

I was trying to make a point of there is more talent on this D then everyone seems to get. Missing KK was a big deal, when Mccoy went out it was a big deal. One unit can make the whole D look that bad if that one unit is bad enough.

But to say Bradberry sucks because our team cant stop the run is absurd...ect... My point is the d doesnt need a rebuild, it needs to be fixed and used right.

My whole point, i just did the analyzing for them, didnt think about them not wanting to read either.

D line was fine when healthy, gap discipline is out of control, also lbs aren’t shedding blockers and outside contain is getting exposed.

its coaching

It is hurting our lbs that olineman can get to them so often though. This is the main reason i think our biggest need is interior DL help. Outside contain is easier if the inside is getting push, has vern really gotten better or have we been forced to use him.

The main reason I don’t think it’s the interior is because even when we run blitz, like today when the skins were on the one, rbs still breaks off long runs because blocks aren’t getting shed.

im not opposed to investing into the interior line especially with short and Poe only under contract, but McCoy should be resigned and we should draft a dt high or sign one in fa and release Poe due to cap savings

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
