This is exactly what I'd do, but Id also add Khan in there somewhere. If we had all 4 of them and Hurney for some round 1 impact...... WOW

Tepper doesn't hire or maintain employment of people who "aren't very good at their job".

What folks are missing is because of the constant interference in football operations by The Big Cat, we don't have any idea how good or bad Hurney really is.

The default position has to be he's better than people think.  The Big Cat only made Hurney worse.

Tepper however has been able to evaluate Hurndog on his own merits and because he has kept Hurndog in the fold all of us (myself included) must acknowledge that our position on Hurndog is probably wrong --- he's probably a LOT better than we ever thought.

It really is that simple.
