What is a bigger problem? Defense or QB?

Gonna have to go back to a traditional 4-3 base system resembling the previous 8 seasons.  Put Luke back in his GOAT position.  The line is in turmoil so change is inevitable.  We have the options at DT with Poe/KK/Butler/McCoy.  The issue will revert to the edges and finding a premier pass rush end.  Bradberry is a top corner worth a deal.  Jackson is a question in his current role but there is talent.  Boston and Reid can be a solid tandem with better talent up front and Luke being able to roam his natural position.

That being said the defense with half decent management the defense should be able to regain some form.

QB is a bigger problem because the only way to know the answer is to wait on a franchise leading player to return to form off injuries, or gamble he's done and try to trade for assets and begin the search for the next starting QB.  QB is a tough thing to find.  Getting it wrong will cost you no less than 3 years depending on the level of investment.

Our franchise QB went down and was replaced by a backup incapable of keeping the sinking ship afloat. That's fairly routine for the NFL. Our defense, on the other hand, has been historically bad against the run in an age where offenses lean heavily on the pass. Injuries have played a role, but we've been terrible at gap accountability at every tier all year. Some of that can be explained by trying to over-compensate, but again, offenses are setting records against us.
