They were only 2 game behind us, beat us at home, and did it with a kid who hasn’t played more than 20 games at QB including college (with their HC fired)

They were 6-3 and were hot until Alex Smith got hurt. Like it or not but they have more pieces than we do right now

Beating us this year isn’t anything to hang your hat on

how were they 6-3 before smiths injury and ended up 3-13 is he that good losing him vacated some wins ?

and no argument here we gonna suck but the redskins ain’t headed to the playoffs anytime soon with Ron or without.

I wish him luck just hope he didn’t rush to a hasty decision seeing as every team in the  nfl  was after him

Eric Schaffer leaving Washington in May

Quote

On Tuesday morning, word emerged that Eric Schaffer, a long-time employee who holds the titles of V.P. of football operations and general counsel, has been fired. Then, multiple reports emerged that Schaffer hasn’t been fired.

Some have suggested that the report that Schaffer is out has been planted in order to identify leakers. Others have suggested that the report that Schaffer is safe has been planted to identify leakers.

Meanwhile, what’s the truth? It’s this, we’re told: Schaffer will be leaving the organization in May, after the draft.

So the Redskins will have a front office job opening after the draft, and word is that Ron Rivera will have considerable say in the organization
