Shaq is an OLB naturally.  Can he play MLB, sure, but he is a better OLB

I just don’t agree with that. It took Shaq five years to finally get used to playing OLB. And I don’t want to hear the Thomas Davis excuse. He was gone last year and Shaq was still just mediocre. He is going to thrive at mlb and I trust Rhule in knowing that.

Andre is a OLB..

He played MLB at UNC, handled all the calls and leadership. He can play MLB, trust me. I liked him much better over 5th rounder Carter, his knee injury killed his stock. He is very active local and doing events for the panthers.

6'0 240 is to small to be a consistent MLB in the pros especially in a 4-3 ... You have to be bigger to see over the line and take on offensive guards.. Which you will do a lot..

Devin White and Kwon are the same size as Shaq. How big was Jon Beason? Hmmmmm

Even beason started on the outside and was playing around 245 250.. Plus Beason was way more aggressive then Shaq.. Don't ever compare Beason to Shaq.

He'll be fine, ask my ex-wife 2 extra inches doesnt make a difference. I just hope the injuries stay at bay. Cause I believe he is a starter and his best spot is MLB.

I’m not. You stated that Shaq was too much. I gave you three guys that are the same size as Shaq. And don’t try to tell me that Shaq isn’t physical. He’s as physical as Luke and TD. And out of the three, Shaq was the better tackler and a harder hitter. He tackles with proper form.

The 3 guys were LB coming in.. Shaq was a safety/LB type like Thomas davis..  Those guys stay on the outside when they make the move to LB... Shaq isn't as physical as Luke or TD... He isn't going at Olinemen like Luke and TD do... Sorry..

Shaq was never going to be a safety. Davis was a safety at UGA and drafted to play safety.

Shaq and TD were looked at in the same way.. Davis wasn't ever going to play safety..... Safeties in College but future OLB who can cover in the passing game and blitz... He is a OLB ...

Davis was handed #47 and played Safety beside  Minter. He struggled there and was moved to OLB. Cmon man. I was born at night but not last night.

Wrong again..

Thomas was brought in knowing that he was going to be a LB.. He wore 47 (which can be A LB numbers as well) until he got permission from Mark Fields to wear 58....  He started 1 game all season backing up both Safety and LB and the next year was moved to LB.. He was never going to be a safety longterm.. Marlon Mcree had that job all season besides Minter...

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
