Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland was arrested on Tuesday in South Carolina on marijuana and alcohol charges.

On Wednesday news broke that he was reportedly already facing a four-game ban from the NFL for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. What prompted that suspension is unclear, but NFL Network reports that Breeland is appealing the ban.

Tuesday’s arrest isn’t likely to help his cause.

He took last season off to take care whatever was going on in his life. So, he’s not officially retired or cut by the Jags. They still have his rights. Like how we will still have Kuechly’s rights for two more years if he ever wanted to come back and pull a Gronk move.

Ahh, is that why Keuchly is still listed on the Panthers roster?

No, because Luke will un-retire and come back this season. He’s already feeling better mentally and physically after seeing the team get Derrick Brown, Yetur and Chinn.
