Jake trying to become a liability in the run game now?

He almost fumbled a snap and then couldn't even hand it off to Stewart at the goal line without almost fumbling the ball. The next play, he riffles it to Williams causing the ball to go in the air. And he complains when we don't throw it haha. We don't throw it cause you suck balls Jake.

That pass to Williams had too much mustard on it. He was 5 yards away and Jake just riffled it. You can try to debate that if you want. The main point here is Jake possibly cost us a touchdown because of his fumble trying to hand it off to Stewart at the goaline. Then after that, who knows if the outcome would be the same or not.

Garbage post. We lose and you blame it on a fumble that didn't happen. Nevermind the fumbles that DID happen, the passes that weren't caught, and the suspect play calling. No. Those couldn't possibly be the reasons for the loss. It had to be the fumble that didn't happen. Props to you for such wisdom.

One fumbled snap that wasnt even turned over, is not a remotley good barameter on how Delhomme played. Who knows if stweart even wouldve gone in.

And yeah ,that was a little to much power in the throw, but it was not a near impossible catch. Williams need to make it. Rarley are you ever going to get a perfect throw.

Jarret also couldve been huge by catching that nice deep ball. Instead in went right through his hands. Jake has been a liabliltiy, but not in this games.

Its obvious that the play calling was protecting Jake. It's a wonder we were able to run the ball like we did with no passing game. Speaks volumes of our offensive line and running backs. If we had a QB that defenses would at least respect then we would have stomped on the Saints today. They had no business winning this game. Biggest bullshit loss of the season folks. We protected Jake because we we're scared to pass. Why? Because Jake has been ******* it up. Yea you can say our WR made some drops and Jake had no picks, but how many times did we just bullshit on 2nd down and run up the middle for 1 to 0 yds? Too fuging many, that's how many. And why? Because of Jake.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
