More NFL Covid nonsense. Players must now isolate for 5 days even if they test negative if they had “high risk” contact

So first we isolate players who “tested positive” but feel completely fine (Cam Newton) but that’s not enough, so now it doesn’t matter if you have it or not, you must isolate if you came in “high risk” contact with a positive player. In other words, just another virtue signaling Covid measure to just try and make a statement that you take it seriously but it actually doesn’t do anything. Kind of like people who wear masks outside when they are all alone.

Can’t fault the NFL. The titans forced their hand to tighten their measures.

Too much money involved to have players going rogue.

With that said, we will see how strict this policy is when Mahomes, Wilson, or Rodgers is required for five days of isolation Three days before a big game.

Yes, speaking of the Titans. They all get Covid, two weeks later they come back and blow out a very good 3-0 Bills team like they were a high school team. Wasn’t Covid like super dangerous? Hmmm

It’s killed 210k+ here in the US. So far. Yes it can be dangerous. And no,  not every titan got covid. The ones that had it didn’t play.

Really hope you aren’t trying to simplify and downplay a virus that has killed over 210,000 people, more then 9/11, more then Vietnam

It 100% is what he is trying to do. It should be in the Tinderbox though. Not here in the main section.

    • Very true. I just think in a situation like this, even if the HC is a problem, firing him this early in your #1 overall pick's career is going to end up doing more harm than good.   If you wanted a head start on other HC searches, that's fine, but fire him in Week 14 or something to accomplish that.  Continuity, even with questionable coaching decisions, is better for a rookie than making this change and now having even worse coaches in charge of his development.
    • Yea it is crazy the change in inside linebacker play the past two weeks.
    • This one isn't me complaining, it's pointing out that we still missed an opportunity, I see them as very different things. I gave the players and coaches their props yesterday, I enjoyed watching that game and enjoying the win.  But those things don't mean that I'm not going to ask questions when I see a stat like this and realize that even in a good win that I was happy with, there were still missed opportunities to help improve our players.
