This only confirms my original stance on the matter: Veganism is perfectly fine for your average Joe blow trying to improve overall health and nutrition but detrimental to athletes in a physical sport like football.

Anyone on the team a vegan that we know of?

meh, i doubt they controlled for preexisting conditions. a lot of people go vegan because they're already sick/frail and have dietary limitations that demand it.

show me a study of professional athletes who are carefully taking supplements with an engineered diet where they're all breaking bones compared to their indestructible carnivorous peers and i'll pay attention, otherwise this is just fluff for troglodytes who use vegan as a punchline to a misspelled joke on the internets

I don't doubt this survey is valid for 95% of the population.

But pro athletes have other professionals working for them to make sure that every potential problem with their diet is addressed.  I can't see a very generalized study like that yielding any valuable information regarding pro athletes.

Anecdotal evidence is superior (sarcasm). This is why I can’t have a real discussion with half of you on here.

Have you tried eating meat? Maybe you wouldn’t be so angry and argumentative all the time.

If by “no one” you mean the tinderbox clan you roll with then I take that as a compliment.

    • Don't have to be miss cleo. His weakness are length, athleticism, creating his own shot, defense, finishing at the rim,  Strengths - shooting and IQ.   Likely won't work as non athletic shooters don't typically work.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
