Tell me how the Saints...

We are playing them in New Orleans.

They are 6-1 at home and we are 3-4 on the road.

Don't think that will be a big issue this week. We haven't played a division opponent in a month and games in December aren't the same as early in the year. We gave the Giants all they could handle and will come in the dome fired up. if we start fast and score points the crowd could be much less of a factor than people think.

Agree with what has been said. The Saints have changed their pholosophy the last 3 weeks and have become much more balanced. If they had done this earlier they probably would have won at least 2 or 3 additional games. Hopefully Payton has learned his lesson even though it is too late for this year. Also, defensively the Saints are quitely putting together a decent year.

Yeah, the Broncos have no run game. PT has come out of nowhere to be a very good back. This may be one of our toughest games all year!

Hopefully Kemo is back and can help shore up the run defense. Even if he doesn't play the run d should be OK, because the Saints don't have the type of dominant run blocking line that the Giants do.

the saints are one of the hotter teams in the NFL right now. They're clicking on all cylinders. This is a divisional game. This is on the road. The Saints have knocked us out before. This game is the difference between the #2 and the #5 seed. The Saints will not let up.

This will be an extremely tough game, so the Panthers better not bullshit and play 60 minutes of complete football.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
