Trade for Stephen Jackson done!

That was almost 7 years ago Sylvianlight. Jackson served his suspension, has given countless hours to community service. He's redeemed himself since then, and he isnt the first nor the last player to fall out with Don Nelson.

well i like jackson's stat line this season, nothing great but he does everything. if he'll actually play and keep his mouth shut i'll give him a chance.

now we just need to start nazr mohammed and we may score points

Its funny that you say this because you were talking poo about Artest in another thread for the same reason. Must just be your bromance for Lebron and your desire to down Kobe and the Lakers as much as possible. I like this trade though. Not sure how long Raja can last with that wrist. This will work if Stephen doesn't get to big of a head. If it doesn't i still applaud the Bobcats for trying to make things happen and get into the playoffs.

Guys who ask for trades and dont get them (Jackson) are usually the ones that run their mouth.

Now he got his trade. He'll be fine.

I wonder how his minutes will be spread.

Do we play a big lineup for most of the game?

wallace and jackson have to start together, that's a no brainer

pg - felton

sg - jackson

sf - wallace

pf - diaw

c -chandler

this team still has plenty of weaknesses, i just hope jackson can take games over for periods at a time, b/c right now teams just let felton and wallace shoot all day and double wallace/diaw when they post

    • The defense is 28 out of 32 in salary cap allocation for 2025. We have a ton of resources tied up in the offense including the highest paid OL in the league multiple 1st round WR's and multiple recent draft picks across the offense at TE and RB and we have two 1000 yard backs. Bryce and company couldn't get past Tyler Shough and his crew in 2 games. That's all there is to it. You can spin it and put the entire onus on the defense to your heart's desire it doesn't change the fact that this is an OFFENSIVE team now. If you want to argue that we should revert back to a defensive identity as we have been in the past which has brought us success then I will agree with you on that. But as it stands the onus is on the offense because that is where we have invested through the nose. Dave Canales and Bryce Young need to do a hell of a lot better than they have against the rebuilding Saints who without us should only have 2 wins this season.
    • Bryce is not trending up. He is the same QB he has always been. Bottom of the league in most categories.  If Canales thinks he can build a contender with Bryce then he is a bigger idiot then I thought.  Offense next year will have the same issues and be just as inconsistent as it was this year.  We have seen Bryce’a ceiling and it is 175 yards a game and that is not a QB you keep around as your starter. That is barely a backup.
    • Looks like Darnold should have had at least 3 picks. That'll get ugly in the playoffs eventually. Can't deny his physical talent though. You either have that or you don't. Mike Macdonald is a legit coach.
