TWC is the bad guy here.

all the NFL is doing is providing another network and another primetime game for us to watch on another day of the week.

it's time-warner that is being stupid by not allowing it. don't subject yourselves to the small minded cable company....go with someone who gives you the options you want.

TWC claims they don't get many complaints about not having NFLN. From the Observer, http://www.charlotteobserver.com/panthers/story/1059753.html

So why are you guys on here bitchin' instead of bitchin' at TWC?

Neither the NFL nor TWC is the good guy. The NFL greatly over values the NFLN and charges an insane price per customer. The NFL also will not allow cable companies to put it on the sports tier (where only people that want the channel will pay for it). TWC of course will tell you how much they will have to raise cable rates for everyone if they add the channel. Of course they are always raising rates anyways, so I have never bought that argument.

I have season tickets and cable BUT I would like to have the NFLN.....I would gladly trade the 4 or 5 spanish stations, Lifetime, Cooking Channel, and a couple of other BS stations in order to get the NFLN. :D
You'll watch the Cooking Channel and you'll like it!!

Thanks,

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
