Is anyone covering our game this week?

Or are they just waiting until tomorrow. I watch ESPN First Take (b/c i like it), and all the other shows, and I have heard absolutely nothing about our game. ESPN even a segment on games with playoff implications, and didn't mentioned us. I am not surprised, I am just wondering if anyone has heard of anything coming up?

Is there a game coming up?

I said it last week, because it's the Panthers, our lack of respect rubs off on other teams. They hardly talked about the Saints game or the Falcon game. But before and after those games they slurp all over those teams. But not during the week of the game. I can't believe you haven't gotten used to the lack of coverage of a Panther game.

We are among the most hated teams in the league. Our team made it to the NFC Championship game in the 2nd year of team franchise in 96, then we went to the SB in year 10 in 2003. We also went back to the NFC Championship in 2005 vs seahawks. Our team in 15 years has done more then Lions and bengels combine. NFL are just jealous of us on how much we have done in 15 years. Thats why during games announcers seem to want other teams to beat us the way they only talk good about other teams when we play them. Just pure jealous.

This is what I've realized over the last couple of years. If your team doesn't have good QB play, you won't get much media coverage. The Falcons stopped getting respect ever since Matt Ryan started sucking it up. Just look at the team, their QB, and how much national coverage they get.

Pats, Brady

Colts, Manning

Steelers, Roethlisberger

Eagles, McNabb

Cowboys, Romo

Saints, Brees

Chargers, Rivers

Giants, Manning

Cardinals, Warner

Vikings, Favre

Packers, Rodgers

And honestly, those are the teams that are covered the most. And the 1 thing they have in common is good QB play. That's all it comes down to.

There are too many teams in front of us in the Playoff race for us to even get a look...and to be fair I heard next to nothing about Monday's Browns/Ravens game. A small market team versus a crappy team, not even local radio talked about it much today. They opened the Buck/Frank show talking about college basketball.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
