I usually have to catch games after they start, so I stay out of these threads to not catch spoilers. I have to admit when it was 11:30pm and I was right at halfway through the 3rd I was thinking this wasn't looking good. I was ready for bed, but I knew the Isles are good at blowing leads so I checked the score. Kind of wish now I wouldn't have done that, but man was it still magical to watch. Jealous of you guys who were in the house last night. My point here is I usually read through the thread the next day. You guys really need to start on page 3-4 and read through it again; it's quite hilarious. We are some of the most bipolar fans in the NHL. Great win. GO CANES!!! -
Maybe taking time off works for him. People react differently. But the optics of it from a first overall pick that also took time off to do nothing at the combine are.... not good.

sorry, I can't spin it as a positive that he spent the whole offseason away from football. Watching you tube and netflix all day. You think Cam Newton to Tom Brady took entire off seasons off of football? Especially coming off of the season he did? With all the issues to his game at this level? I don't want him obsessing over last season. Dude has a ton of work however he needs to be doing to get better. Lot of getting better is the work put in on their own time and in the offseason. The work guys do in the offseason is often documented and known. It's normal.
