Offensive line

This is the answer to every one of our main problems and it is no secret. What is mind boggling is any of you expecting anyone to perform behind it. No QB, No RB, no TE and No WR matter. Go ahead and fire Rhule. Not one offensive genius is going to make it work. You wanted Teddy gone and he is. No difference. Sam got a shot. No difference. Cam almighty came back and has list every game he started. No difference. This is 100 % lack of OL talent and FA and the draft are the way to change it. Get the LT in the draft and sign a C and G. If those players only perform as average, we win 9 games No matter the coach. The NFL is a secret: the most talented teams win. What is amazing is our fans expecting miracles in two years of a rebuild. This team was at the bottom of the league when Rivera left. The defense has been rebuilt to a top 10 top 5 unit. Fix the OL.

How do you suggest we fix the OL?

Rhule traded away a bunch of our draft picks, took up a bunch of cap space by picking up Darnold’s option, and failed to develop any of the young guys that were on the roster…

The OL sucks because Rhule thought that he could develop fugging Cam Erving and Pat Elflein…

Now we need to fill four spots with limited cap space, no draft picks, and young players who weren’t properly developed.

The guy is a fugging loon.

Draft a LT first round. Use cap space to sign a c and g. That is a big start

If you think we’re going to have enough cap space to sign evan an average guard and center than you need to take a look at how many outstanding free agents/available roster spots we have in concordance with our available cap space.

    • I get it's disappointing, but this was definitely a seller's market and the only players traded away were players that would be depth pieces at best for us. A lot of the top teams (Avs, Stars, Lightning, Wild post Hughes) really only traded for depth pieces. Just a terrible trade deadline all around and I'm glad we didn't cave and sell the farm for somebody like Tro (even though I like him and he fits our team well).
    • Yes the Icky thing really kills us this year with a 17.4 I think, million dollar hole, for nothing.     His extension would likely have reduced his 2026 hit. But the extension was going to be massive.    At the same time, the massive extension money is largely freed up now and can go elsewhere.  There is just no way he should be in line for the same payday as pre injury.  I say largely freed because maybe we can do a little hollowed out extension to give him a window to get back and stay with the team past this year. Snap count and/or other incentives for 2027. Something that leaves the door open for him to get a fresh contract that reflects his value moving into 2028. Whatever that proves to be.  We’d have a lot of that money that was earmarked for his extension available to us starting next year.
    • What a major letdown. This team will forever disappoint me
