For who? Copp is at $3.6M and unless the Jets are willing to carry some of that salary, he's a little out of reach unless the Canes trade Vinny, Nino, TT or one of the young guns.

I don’t think we are ready to give up on Necas quite yet.

There’s a rumor that a team has offered two second rounders for Copp but the Jets are waiting it out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the offer of the two second rounders is from us.

Marty would have to go to LTIR and the Jets would have to retain at least 25% of Copp’s salary.

So essentially a 2nd for Copp and a 2nd for the retention.

I mean put Marty on long term injured reserve to get his cap off the books until he’s healthy. Once he’s healthy we’ll have to do some maneuvering but we can cross that bridge when it comes since it appears he may be out until the start of the playoffs.

I also wouldn’t be opposed to acquiring Max Domi, we could use another poo stirrer on the team besides TDA.

I know both are on the smaller side but as a tag team they can do some damage lol.

5 weeks or so left in the regular season and RBA said Saturday that Martinook is out for "a few weeks."

Copp is a UFA after this season while Martinook is under contract for the next 2 seasons at $1.8M.

Looks to me like we're staying with who got us here. At this point there's nothing to keep secret or wait until the last minute for, so.....

The only thing that leaked was that we did indeed have interest in Domi but right now it doesn’t look like a deal is going through.
