Dont blame the players. Blame this incompetent coaching staff.

Lets face it. We cant accurately evaluate the team when every coaching member is completely inept at their job.

Snow is terrible and puts his players in terrible positions. The defense looks like a bunch of chickens running around with their head cut off. Mcadoo is predictable. Whenever the offense is around midfield, he abandons the run. During the 2nd half, he decided to abandon the run almost completely. There is no excuse at all to not run again after CMC`s big run. Then worst of all, we have one of the worst head coaches in the league in Matt Rhule.

Also players keep making the same mistakes. Veterans come here and suddenly create back breaking penalties. Rookies keep making the same mistakes over and over again. They have nobody to coach them up and help them learn. I just dont see how you can blame the players. Especially when a better coaching staff could get the most out of them. There is just too much talent on the team and then just get nothing out of it is inexcusable. Everything falls on this staff. I dont see this team winning any games because of all of this.

    • I understand where OP is coming from in general. Personally I don't have anything against Bryce the person. By all accounts he's a great guy. As an NFL QB and as the face of the franchise however I must acknowledge he is enough to make someone stop watching football altogether. If we had transitioned directly to him from Cam and Kyle Allen instead of Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold PJ Walker Baker Mayfield etc I would probably feel more apathy toward the situation but I've been through the ringer already so this is whatever. I will say as nice of a kid as he is his personality is unbelievably milquetoast and it's hard to ignore even when he plays well and wins it just feels like your QB is Steve Urkel and you're always left waiting for the other shoe to drop. It is what it is 🤷‍♂️
    • Not only Bryce... The "all star" coaching staff approach was pushed on Reich because Tepper saw the initial success Brian Daboll was having. That's how we ended up with Thomas Brown (among others) rather than the staff Reich would hav chosen himself. When it comes to football, Tepper is one of those guys who sees someone else having success and says "hey, let's copy that" rather than getting people who have their own ideas. Not just unoriginal, but also stupid 😡 As to Bryce, Fitterer admitted he'd locked in on Bryce the year before and wasn't budging. Pretty much everyone believes Reich wanted Stroud, but why would you expect him to get his choice of quarterback when he didn't even get his choice of assistant coaches? Add in that besides Tepper using assistants as basically corporate spies, Fitterer threw Reich under the bus when Bryce wasn't an overnight sensation. Basically, Reich never had a shot. Now Fitterer is gone, the all star staff is mostly gone, the Giants are a sh-t show and Reich is experiencing a career resurrection at Stanford. And us? Well, we're still here hoping for a miracle 😕
    • Speaking of guys that need to return to school, John Mateer. He has really nuked his stock during SEC play.
