What's worse: Saints going 16-0 or Panthers going 4-12?

The only record you need to remember is

16-12 (overall record Panthers over the Saints):D

No, I think the only record I need to remember is the record as it stands right now chief; 11-0. Yep, read that again, 11-0. Man it's nice to have the best QB in the league.

I could care less if the Saints go 16-0. If they do they deserve it.

Guess you didn't read this ^^^^

As far as their fans, If the Saints go 16-0, I will hate their fans even more because they don't know how to be modest.

And you just proved my point ^^^^^ vvvvvvvv

Whoa! Be careful. I got a warning for calling them the Taints the day before we played them.

Pecan pie is delicious:

* 1 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup

* 3 eggs

* 1 cup sugar

* 2 tablespoons butter, melted

* 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract

* 1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) pecans

* 1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen** deep-dish pie crust

The Saints have never been to a Super Bowl. Their fans deserve this, especially after Katrina.

Agreed. If I'm not mistaken, no franchise has had less success historically than the Saints.

Not to mention, most on this board don't realize the effect that Katrina had, and STILL has on both current and former residents of New Orleans.

So, if an NFL team, that has historically had no success, goes undefeated & wins the Super Bowl, that's just a small piece of happiness that might be given to some of the people and families that have been ripped apart by what happened, even if it was 4 years ago.

:rant:

And, FWIW...it's not like we couldn't have gone undefeated this year had we even a decent QB.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
