I think everyone thought that Calgary was the better team, but Edmonton let the offense rip during that series.  Calgary's defense looked really slow during that series and Markstrom played well below the level he was playing during the regular season.

So far this season Edmonton looks to be all offense and a below average defense.  I know hopes were high for them, but so far they haven't looked great to me.  I will admit I have only seen them play Calgary and Buffalo - both games they lost.

Calgary has some talent, their defense is probably weaker than their O.  Markstrom can steal games when he's on. 

It will be interesting to see how the Canes match up.  I think our D has been outstanding so far and the PP seemed to finally click a little in Seattle.  I would love the Canes to come home undefeated, but hockey is a grind.

Yeah I’ll be happy with 2 points leaving Alberta.
