Fox not naming QB starter yet

I know...it just gets annoying when he cant just name a freaking starter and stick to it...instead of pulling a mangini

This x infinity.

This game Fox plays is tired. Especially when we are 5-7. Just name your damned starter for God's sake. It's not like Belecheat is up there saying "Holy sh*t, is it gonna be Jake or Matt? OMG, How in the hell am I gonna gameplan when I don't know who Fox will start!!!!" Come on, man.

hahah idk man, I hate making predictions about Jake, because well he's jake.. but man it's just ridiculous how hard the Pats have dropped. They are straight up blowing coverage left and right the past few games. I'm still worried about Moss though, considering how many pass yards we gave vs. f'ing tampa.

Well I can't speak to any of their other losses, but I wouldn't put much stock into yesterday's game. I saw that loss coming a mile a way, and I was sure enough to put money on it.

The Patriots always lose at Miami in December.

Here is my opinion.

The Bucs blitzed a lot. Sure, they always do. However, I also think it was because they wanted to rattle Moore knowing he is basically still a rookie in the league. The Patriots could do this as well if indeed Moore does start. If they do, and if Deangelo returns at 100% next week, Stewart and Williams will have a big day. And if that happens, play action will be there big time by the second half. We could seriously win this game if the defense shows up.

Moore did a lot Sunday that we all liked and he did some things we all disliked. At the end of the day, how many times this year could Jake help us win a game? Sure, Moore could have hit Smitty in the end zone. And sure, his ball to Smith on the go route was a duck, but he played exceptional given the fact that it is his first start in 2 seasons, and given the fact that he probably doesn't get a lot of reps with the starting offense in practice, I can't really complain. Let's see how he does with another week of practice with the first team (assuming Fox has a brain and starts him Sunday) and see how he plays against one of the best teams in the NFL.

Defensively, I want Martin back at safety. Godfrey played good in order to earn next week. Competition breeds production. I love it.

    • There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.
    • I can only imagine the **** eating grins on the committee right now. "Oh, Bama didn't deserve it? Oh, Miami didn't deserve it? Suck it, haters!" lol
    • To say that, is gaslighting, because it isn’t true. I mean, maybe one or two people do that but it isn’t the predominant behavior. Even Frank has given him credit. I think particularly the Rams game. A couple of glowing posts.   I know I have. Gotta be honest about it because if you aren’t it undermines what else you say.  But the degree of how far I go with credit, in terms of it being a projection of future performance? Not very far. Acknowledge it, but require more of it. There is a lot of bad play to offset.    I tried to remain passive while the last 9 games (post ankle injury) played out. It is just really hard when the lows won’t go away. I failed. As high as a couple of those highs were, there isn’t enough.    I know it is premature to just say I want to move on, made my decision after 6 of those games ended up pretty much really good or not good enough, but I have had enough of being patient and letting him show the reality either way.  So in my view, he Could still validate himself to a decent degree if he smokes the last three starts. But also in my view I don’t expect to see it. Maybe one more high quality start, would be my expectation. So yes he could still somehow justify having the job next year. If that happened I still wouldn’t have much faith given the last three years and all that has transpired. Again, there is a lot of bad play to offset.
