Always liked Von

NFL rigged that super bowl for manning we all know it

They will always stack the deck against us, that crew did 5 Denver games that season, Denver won them all

They simply don't want to market a Carolina Superbowl , and that was on top of bowing to the Mannings and giving Peyton a fairy tale John Elway ending, plus the establishment didn't like Cam, he didn't kiss enough behind and actually believed in himself

Maybe after Bryce Gets going, we get back there , and make the NFL acknowledge us!!!!, like Gary Bettman and the NHL had to do in 2006 for The Canes(although Raleigh did have a mediocre parade I'm afraid)

..and the refs for letting him tee off on Cam.

I never really felt like Von or Ware were dirty.  Von himself said he never tried to injure QBs because he respects the game and understands they are what drive the game, so he took pride in sacking them and doing it cleanly.  Ware always struck me as a pretty classy player/person as well.  The cheap shots on Cam that I mostly remember were from their bum ass, flash in the pan guys like Wolfe, Marshall, and rotational rushers.  I have always respected Von as a player and a talent, but I can say that while also professing my absolute disdain and utter hatred for the Broncos as an organization, the NFL, Goodell, and his bitch ass henchmen known as officials.  I can separate players I respect from that shitbag organization that stole a fuging Superbowl from us and still wish that organization to be a complete fuging hellhole for eternity.  fug Denver.  fug the NFL.  fug the refs.  fug the Broncos, and fug their fans.

Oh, and fug artificial turf.

    • Then why are they paying QBs so much compared to other players? QB are making so much it's harder and harder to pay other players. If a guy plays like 1 of 11 then there pay should be in line with that. Not all QB should be breaking the bank just because your next or a former 1st rounder There is a reason they say try to win it all on a QB rookie deal because after that they can cripple a team on what it can do. I would rather not do that for a bottom 1/3 QB. Cam and Jake have been the only QBs worth investing long term into this team has had I would rather not lower the bar. If a guy don't got the IT factor and it shows I would rather not invest long term into them and keep looking

    • I mean, I hear what y'all are saying, but Derrick could have been positive without being negative.  He essentially accused people of not seeing Bryce's improvement because of their desire to not be wrong. He could've kept it about Bryce and the team. For example, he could've said: "Bryce has made strides, and we believe in him. This coming season, his continued improvement will turn a lot of people into believers."  That would've been supportive of his teammate and sent a message to the doubters. That being said, his tact almost summoned and left the door ajar for more skepticism. That's my take anyway. Bryce has improved from the bottom to perhaps skirting the line between the bottom third and mid-third at best...after three seasons. We've all seen it. Yay! In my mind, Bryce has still got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but my expectations are top five--at least top 10--always! Yes, I am a fan, so there's that, but I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect excellence. Hopefully the Panthers FO has the same mindset (and that doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with what we gave up to acquire him). That is the lens I'm looking through. Derrick Brown has his homer glasses on. He just needs to be more diplomatic and thoughtful with his words in my opinion, but I get it that he's a good teammate.
