The question is who have Laviolette and Maurice not coached, those two get passed around like a cheap stripper.

The NHL is so desperate for good coaching that they think just because they made it to a cup or even win one they should always get a shot.

No doubt.  By their logic, Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl (watched from the sidelines while the Cowboys won despite him is more accurate), so he should have been a hot item.

Babcock was just about run out of the league a few years ago, and reportedly he will get a new lease on life in Columbus.  What's the worst that can happen?  Oh, never mind.

It’s the ol’ boys club, they all get passed around until it comes out that they are racist or took part in a sexual assault cover up.

Laviolette is the only coach to take 3 different teams to the Cup finals.

That being said, the NHL is the worst for recycling coaches.
