Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?

You can critique any area of any players game. I just happen to think you're wrong.

We'll get the ultimate answer to that in the coming season.

well, I will continue to hope that either Shenault proves capable of an expanded role and if not, they add a quality guy for that role in our backfield when cuts happen.   Preferably the latter as Young's health and growth are frankly the only thing I care about in 2023.

It would make a whole lot more sense to hope you are wrong.

I mean, depth and a well rounded backfield seems like something everyone should want.

I mean even if you love Miles Sanders game.  He has suited for a full season once.   So then Hubbard is the every down RB or you go scrambling in season?

I just like more stability around a rookie QB.  That's generally how they grow and see success.  Put a bunch of dudes around them that are good at what they are asked to do.

I'm talking about spending peanuts on niche player to ensure Bryce is successful and people flipping their lids as it is somehow disrespectful to Miles Sanders lol.

Well hope springs eternal. However, it won't make the RB you seem to want suddenly show up. Oh no, the Humanity.

I mean, you do realize the roster isn't set.  League is full of niche/specialist players.  Scott ain't done tweaking.  That's just my want of tweaks.

maybe you will do better with your prediction of how things play out this year vs the ones you were making around this time last year.

Yeah, cuz I was the only one hoping for good things with Baker. Are you going to call out everyone that thought we may have a shot with Baker? Or is that just for me?

Because right now it's just you and @mrcompletley nuts who are in the "We done Bryce wrong" club.

You do you, make outlandish claims, then deflect until they go away.

The absolute worst poster on this board

Looking at your previous posts from when you "joined" I see where you were a rhule defender, Baker defender and staunch Darnold fanboy.  Damn thats a tough look to have on your resume.  I mean you were all fuging in on matt rhule.   Jesus.

That's a whole lot of work to do just to sound superior. And once again I'll say. "Oh no, mrcompletlynuts has insulted me". How will I ever live down the shame. Dweeb.

I'm not going nuts.  I think we should round out our backfield before the season starts.   You do that with cuts and bring in a niche guy.   It's doable.  So I talk about it.   Again, seems like a pretty reasonable and doable thing to help the rookie.   We have a hole there and I suspect we do it pending someone doesn't just blow them away in camp.

Saying Miles Sanders and Hubbard aren't great receiving/3rd down options isn't outlandish.  Nor is wanting to improve the RB position to cater to Young.

my last outlandish claims prior to we should round out our backfield for the rookie QB we just invested in...... was Matt Rhule sucked.  Ben McAdoo sucked.  Sam sucked.  Baker sucked.  Real reaches lol.

And what do we call a person that time after time ignores the fact that last year Miles only had 2 drops?

And there are a lot of Huddlerz who can't wait to see what Blackshear can do. So we do have options. Options lots of ppl are happy about. Just not you.

I haven't ignored that.   Evaluating someone as a 3rd down option isn't just about looking at the official drop tally on their stat sheet boss.  Someone could have 0 drops and suck at the job.

You don't read.  I already acknowledged the GM/staff is likely waiting to see if someone wows them at camp in that role.    Again, there would be no one to patch that niche issue with until cuts.

What a hoot. You sure like throwing out that ol' "You can't read" trope don'tcha? Kind of ironic coming from someone who has pretty much ignored every stat he's been given.

OMG zero drops but suck at their job. Spin that poo boyo.

Just like an 8 track. Same songs over and over and over again. But hey that's you. Repeat the same trope over again until folks just finally leave the thread.

I know it sucks the Panthers did Bryce wrong. But it is what it is until it isn't anymore.

Just hoping you might actually be right.  I mean at least be right one time.

Oh, snap.

At least I'm smart enough not to use PFF to make a point basically nobody but you believes.

This thread has gone so badly for you it has dissolved into you throwing lame insults at me. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

You can continue to undervalue Miles. I don't care anymore. Coming from one of the most negative posters around. Does it really hold much weight?

    • Never been. Going to a concert there Thursday night. Decent tailgating opportunities in the parking area or no? I see people are going to the beer hall to grab a beer to get their parking validated. Seems like a good plan to me. I'd like to smoke a brisket and do a decent spread of food but I just don't know if the parking setup allows for it.

    • Bryce also has a degree in psychology. He has an uncanny ability to compartmentalize things in a way that allows him to enter his second NFL season with optimism that he can still be the player who was worthy of being the No. 1 pick of the 2023 draft despite the kind of rookie year that has destroyed others in his position. Young credits that in part to his past. He graduated from the University of Alabama in three years with a degree in psychology. His father was a therapist in the mental health field for 20 years. His mother was a special education teacher, and his grandfather was a psychologist. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40334565/bryce-young-developing-leader-panthers-year-2
