Shaun Hill when he started last season: 62.8 Cmp % , 87.5 QB rate

Michael Vick's highest Cmp %: 56.4 , highest QB rate: 81.6

I think a better stat is who put up more points in there best year. IDK for sure but I would say Vick's scoring is higher and it probably isn't even close. Too lazy to look up.

Bottom line is when he was with the Falcons there wasn't a more exciting and dangerous player in the NFL. In my eyes he has paid for his crimes so I see no reason why we didn't sign him in the 1st place. Never mind I do know, Foxs blind love of Jake.

That is a load of crap. People have been trying to turn Vick into a RB since he was drafted. He is a QB that just so happens to be one of the best runners at that postion. He can play the QB position and as others have said he had one hell of an arm. He struggles with consistency and accuracy but no more then Jake throughout his career and Jake never put up a 1000 yards rushing in a season either.

The point is the guy can play at QB in the NFL I think he has proven that. He might not be the protypical passer but IMO there are few QBs in the league that can take over a game like Vick did with the Falcons. He was there Franchise.

Jake even had a higher QB rating than Vick the past 5 years. And prior to this year, Vick's highest completion percentage didn't even tough Jake's lowest. That tells you how bad Vick sucks at QB. We already have 4 RBs that can score and can do bettter than what Vick does running. The guy is just a horrible QB. Plain and simple.

The problem is we can't get scoring period out of the QBs. Matt Moore 1 td 1 int in 2 games Jake 8 td 18 ints through week 12. I know what I saw when he was a Falcon a guy I dreaded us playing and a player who won his team games. You can say what you want but I don't care if he has a 50% comp if he wins the game. So what if its with his legs and not his arm?

Cut Jake and McCown, keep Moore, sign a better vet, and draft a QB. Open competition for the starting QB spot. That's the way it should be I think.

Why not bring in Vick? I see no reason to trade for him. If he is released though we should at least make a bid. If not so be it. If he could be had for a similar deal as the one he got with the Eagles there's really almost no risk. Low signing bonus you can cut him if he becomes a distraction. Its not like I am saying risk the bank for him I am just saying he should be given a chance.
