I can't help but think you haven't watched Skinner over the past year. The dude was chucking darts. He had more than a few that went 50 in the air to Williams, and Williams had to run to catch up to it.

This sound strategy worked about pretty well for the Bears.

I wasn't talking about the Bears. They are a completely different team with different needs/players than the Panthers. Cutler has no running help, no receivers, and doesn't fit in with the bear offensive system which has been misguided for years in picking talent.

And for the record Cutler is extremely overrated, I would not consider him to be a great or even good QB. He has an arm. That's IT. He could change with experience he is still young.

If the Panther's want to go the whole drafting route that's OK but it will take time to season a QB and you'll have to expect mistakes and probably even another losing season. Personally, I'd prefer we bring out the $ and get a real QB already playing, we already have a bunch of talent on the team and they aren't getting younger while their contracts start to expire.
