That is the lamest teaser for a game I've ever seen.

If this game tanks, Peter Molyneux just needs to create an updated version of Black and White, where you try and get a whole world to worship you and be done with Fable.

I played the first Fable game when they released it on PC. It's VERY much on rails. You can't really branch out beyond the story line. Sure, there's a good number of side quests, but you are the hero and you have to kill the big evil dragon guy, and that's about it. Random encounters do not really exist. Monsters spawn in certain areas repeatedly. Albion feels very... "small" at times. The aging system is fairly retarded too.

Don't get me wrong though. It's a fun game for a play though or two. If you like a game that focuses on character driven play, to the point that you can even get married, it's good. I guess if you took Oblivion removed the randomness, removed a good bit of the "stat" portion of the game, and gave it more of a "WoW" look, you'd have Fable.

I didn't really get to play Fable 2 much. So I can't say if they fixed some of these issues. But from what friends tell me they focused more on character development.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Fable 3.

Never played any of these, but I was impressed with the commercial I saw for this game. So I looked it up. It sounds really good. I am concerned with the thing I read on wikipedia about the game being released on Xbox Live marketplace by episodes, just like Fable 2. It said the first Episode would be free. So is an Episode a level? Do I get level 1 for free when I buy the game, and then have to spend MP to play the rest of the game? If so that sucks.

I picked it up last week. Not a bad game at all, haven't had any freezing issues but it's seems extremely glitchy on my Zephyr chip 360. I'm sure it runs smoother on the new wifi 360's but it's disappointing to me that the game doesn't run as smooth as Fable II did. Still fun though....

Same, I'm trying to finish it but I cant justify playing it over NBA2K11 right now. It's not a terrible game, definitely prefer the storyline of Fable I+II better but the glitches just keep angering me to the point I just pop in 2K11....

I rented this the other day, and I have not stopped playing it. I put it in for the first time somewhere in the 4th quater of the Panthers game, and did not stop until 2am. Then started at 7am the next morning until about 8pm. I did beat the game though. I didnt see much glitching exept sometimes it would move really slow, but if you sit still for a bit, it seemed to correct itself. I love this game, and love the multiplayer. I never played the other 2, but this is really a good game. I will be buying this soon.
