Will any FAs WRs even come to Carolina?

I have been a fan of marshall since before he was drafted, if we picked him up its a guarantee our offense would benefit, you single cover marshall, your gonna lose, you single cover smith, your gonna lose, you double cover both of them, someone else will become open as well as our running game will open up HUGE. With him being benched this sunday and and all the drama out of denver, there may be a chance somehow we could pick him up

im pretty sure any talented wr would have drama when a young coach comes in and ruins their offense after it was number one last year, if they hadnt let cutler walk and had the offense from last year with the defense of this year they would be one of the best teams in the league, so i cant say i dont understand where marshall has come from

I would like Brandon Marshall too but he is a loose cannon we don't need. He is a child in a mans body. Do you think he is going to enjoy being second fiddle to Steve Smith.

Go Panthers

why not 1a and 1b.it would work.as long as he don't get involved with a charlotte broad.

If Marshall isn't a FA next year you can be for damn sure Denver will get a 1st rounder AT LEAST by trading him. He's the type of receiver who can make any average quarterback look amazing.

I don't think Smith would mind too much.. you guys act like Larry Fitz cares that Boldin is lined up on the other side. Think he's a big too expensive for us, though. :\

Peppers for Marshall? I would take it in a heartbeat. What receiver in this draft are you going to get that is as good as Marshall?

Those of you think that we are getting Marshall are out of your mind. For one, we will never pay him the $ he will want, and two it would never work with two big egos to deal with. Whoever we get needs to be comfortable being a #2. Do you really think having two #1 big ego receivers will work? Has it ever worked? Maybe for one season, but it nevers works long-term.

Lance Moore would be a nice fit but he is very injury prone.

I would rather go after Boldin. But most likely we bring in a couple of low level FA and a draft pick and let all our receivers compete for the #2.

Hate to say it but as long as Fox is here. Jake is gonna get the starting Job. I think we will finish with a 9-7 record with Jake next year and might get into the wild card. I just dont see Fox letting Moore have his shot even when the writing is on the wall. This situation really reminds me of NO back in 2002 when Jake was clearly the better man but Brooks always got the start.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
