He may very well give up a one year head coach job for a 3 or 4 year DC contract.

oh, I don't think it's a lack of merit. I disagree with the idea he's leaving (and spent many posts talking about it). I think it's within range to ask someone who suggests to have knowledge of the team if there's a reason they're putting out a statement that's caused a ton of fuss.
