Saints = softest team in the playoffs...

Fixed for you. If anyone on this board wants to call Jonathan Stewart a 2nd string running back you're a fool. He's a better RB than 75% of the starting RB's on the teams in the playoffs this year.

Enjoy watching the post-season on TV and the three-year rebuilding period after you dump DWill and spend two years figuring out if Matt Moore is really your starter or not. Ask Brian Billick how that worked out with Kyle Boller.

Unlike DelHeauxmeaux, Brees will not turn the ball over 27 times in this playoff game, no matter who they play.

Enjoy your one and done ass kicking you are about to receive in the playoffs.

Brees is a hell of a QB. Quite frankly, he IS the Saints team. Unless he plays lights out, the Saints still suck.

Saints starter needed a sympathy flag to make a play. Poor little fella.

Payton sat brews because he knew the panthers are hot right now and would take him to task. Now at least he can just shrug and blame the backups.

Typical dome team. Sissified.

Rep if it mattered.

Sainst are one and done.

and DrewBreesIsGod is a sissy.

The fact that there are 'aints tricks all over a lowly Panthers site defending a loss is telling enough for me.

The aints have zero momentum, zero toughness, and zero in the tank for the approaching post season.

Even these whoodatt tramps understand that or they would not be here.

I am quite pleased with the way the season finished for the Panthers and look forward to the off season. I don't even hope that the 'aints lose in the playoffs.

..because I know they will.

Who is going to kick our ass? The Eagles? 48-10 or something like that...don't talk to me about McNabb, he doesn't play defense. The Cards? No running game, banged up DRC and Bouldin. The Packers? No O-line and Will Smith will have about 6 sacks.

I know you guys are looking for some kind of consolation from your ass-whooping by AZ last year and your sputtering mess this year. We understand, that was us last year.

Thanks for beating the Vikes for us though. :hurray:

You guys had better find your lost mojo or you are one and done.

I'd look for the D as well it's been suspect for a several weeks now.

Injuries - we haven't had our starting secondary on the field all together since - shoot I can't even remember...whenever Greer went down. Ellis has also missed some time as well as us making due with a patchwork LB core for the past several weeks. Along with generally inferior personnel, this has cause Gregg Williams to have to dial back some of his schemes and run some pretty vanilla packages lately.

All should be healthy come the playoff game so I'm confident we'll see the Saints D from the first 3/4 of the season.

Got to love the new Saints fans that started watching this year. Buddy of mine has been a Saints fan his whole life and he's got nothing but respect for the Panthers. In fact, he says it's the one game he doesn't look forward to every year because we know how to spoil a good party.

It's a shame that a few clowns with some fresh new Christmas money and a ticket to on the latest bandwagon fail to realize what they represent exactly T_T

As for the Saints fans that have been around and are starting to ride high because of this whole new sensation called "winning", well... Let's just say that if you guys don't win the Super Bowl now, you might want to add some of the Patriots humble pie to your jambalaya.

This will be the Saints 9th game in the playoffs in how many years?

Please, GTFO. Besides Saint J and I believe Drew Brees is god, where are all of you pussy motherf**king band-wagoners coming from? LOL Where you last season when the Saints were 8-8 last season or the season before that? At least Saint J and Drew Brees is God are true fans and supported their team through the bad.

yo making Saint J and Drew Brees is god look bad by posting.

I've been a Saints fan since day one. Where was I last year? Why wasn't I on this board? Simple, I didn't even know it existed. Just because I didn't spend my time on the web doesn't prove anything about my dedication as a fan to the Saints. But, since you live in a cyber world where noone really knows anything about anybody else, its very easy just to make up things about others and convince yourself its true. You probably feel really good about yourself when you play like you know something about others. How sad and pathetic can a person be?

Kicks sucks Dicks.

This has got to be from the mind of a 12 year old, if that. A mature person doesn't stoop to juvenile behavior like this. No, he would have something constructive or at least witty to say. I see neither in this kid’s post. There’s no challenge. Boring. Kind of like yesterday’s game…just a trash game and not even worth playing.

I think any team that you play in the playoffs will beat the Saints.

3 game losing streak....not to mention the two terribly played games before that (gift from Washington and barely beating a Falcons team without either Ryan or Tuner).

Saints blew their wad against the Pats...and have been shooting blanks ever since.

As for the Eagles.....you beat them in game 2 while playing against their back-up QB. Keep trying to convince yourselves that you are this invincible team.

So basically what you're saying is, you weren't here. Exactly. So, it doesn't matter if you were too cool for school, and didn't know about this place. The fact remains, you look like a doucher for coming on here now and talking up the Saints when they're actually not mediocre/bad/terrible.

Either way, it doesn't matter. I'm sure this thread will be bumped and laughed at 100's of times after the Saints are lightly pushed out of the playoffs.

At least we are in, and as divisional champs, and as #1 seed. That's a lot that y'all can't say. Long or short, we'll enjoy the ride while y'all just sit at home a watch eating your hearts out.

It's truly hilarious how the Saints fans believe that they're miraculously going to catch fire after simply coasting on empty for the last quarter-season.

Someone needs to tell the Saints they're doing it wrong, because they don't seem to know.

Of course they'll find this out the hard way in just shy of two weeks. It's going to be grand!

    • It's also worth noting that Cam himself said that he felt safer when running vs. sitting in the pocket because he could see the contact coming and could better prepare for it. A QB running the ball doesn't have to be a sledgehammer. He just has to be effective.
    • That Falcons game is about as good as it gets. Especially on the road. I know the Falcons defense was bad but he was cooking with Coker, an undrafted rookie get the bulk of the receptions. If your QB has 5 TDs and 0 turnovers he is playing like a top QB, yardage be damned. The big question for me is how consistently can be play the whole season?  I don’t expect a game like that every week, but I also don’t want to see any performances like the pre benching or that Cowboys game (which was bad post benching). Bryce’s best shot at being the guy is becoming a mini-Burrow who is about as consistent as you can get at the QB position.  The good news is this QB class should be a fun one. So hopefully Bryce becomes the guy, if not it’s a nice class to let DC pick his QB and they should come into a great situation with a good OL, RB, young talented WRs etc…
    • Bryce Young is far less risky with his body when he runs than Richardson and doesn’t take many unnecessary big hits. Was much more worried about injury when he had that abysmal OL his rookie season than I ever would be when he runs/scrambles. 500/10 seems like a fairly reasonable prediction considering he had 250/6 in 12 starts last season. Of course literally anybody CAN get hurt, it’s just that we were assured by many huddlers that it was a sure thing with Bryce Young that he wouldn’t make it to this point in his career without significant injuries.
