Saints = softest team in the playoffs...

The Saints season is over, you just don't know it yet.

In a couple of weeks you are going to wish the Saints played Brees today.

Enjoy

Saints will be in the NFC championship, SB no one knows. Payton made the right move today, its not for the panthers to judge anyone. Cowher will be with the Bucs next year. That leaves the panthers with Fox no QB and weak WR core next year. Im sure you will retain your position.

If the Saints were the dominant team SaintJ thinks they are they would have gone out and performed similarly to the Vikings.

this is a joke right?

Oh, just an aside...my favorite game moment from the stadium today. 4th quarter, Carolina has the ball. Some chick behind me yells as loud as she can "COME ON PEPPERS! DO SOMETHING!"

I had to double check myself and confirm who had the ball...:D

Umm.....are you stupid or something? Cowher is not going to the Bucs, 'cause they're keeping Morris from what we heard.

That leaves the panthers with Fox no QB and weak WR core next year. Im sure you will retain your position.

No QB? You haven't look at Moore or even the game today obviously. We will be fine at QB with Moore playing more.....literally. And our WR core will be fixed next year. We're going to be better asap. Wait & see, 'Aints fans. This is just the beginning!!

Just heard a stat on NFL Network:

Only once in modern football history has a team gone into the postseason on a more than 2 game losing streak and gone on to win the big game (The '67 Packers).

Good luck SaintJ, you're going to need it.

That's ok.

Oh the joy of seeing the Saints being one and done.

Not going to be as much fun as watching a Panther team falling apart for 3-4 years. Get used to losing seasons with no CS,QB,or good WR core, you not doing anything next season either, and the saints will just get better. Even cowher will not touch you, your that messed up

    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
    • The last 8 weeks, Nix had 2,022 yards, 21 TDs, 6 INTs on 70% completions While Bryce's last 8 games he had 1,709 yards, 12 TDs (albeit adding 5 more rushing), 3 INTs on 61% completions. I'm not going to pretend I watched those Broncos games to know exactly how Nix actually looked, but in retrospect, his statistics were better.  Hell, in just his final 8 games, Nix had only 5 less TD passes than Bryce has in his 30 game (28 starts) career. And you said he had better WRs than Bryce did, but I'm not even sure that's even true either. Sutton and Thielen might be completely different types of WRs, but I'd say they are pretty equal on effectiveness if not even a slight edge to Thielen (63.6 YPG for Sutton to 61.5 for Thielen).  Then XL and Coker vs Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vale, again, at worst a push, if not lean in our favor there too. Why is it so hard for some Panthers fans to just objectively look at our team/Bryce and be honest with themselves. ? He was significantly improved the final two months of the season from his first season and a half.  But he was still a below average QB during that time, even if he had a few good throws and clutch moments.
