McNabb...

I think there is a big difference between has not and can not. Can not implies he doesn't want too and I highly doubt that.

As a former Cowboy fan who still loathes the Eagles and maybe all things Philly, I can appreciate how good McNabb really is. That many Champ games, double digit wins and playoffs is nothing to overlook.

He should be a HOF.

You were a Cowgirls fan? WHY?!??!? Thats hard to believe. And you're right Stall, McNabb is a beast, if we had a QB as good as him we'd be more successful as a franchise and definitely be more relevant. Eagles will face these same Cowgirls next week in Dallas. Its really hard to beat an NFL team 3 times in 1 season, so I think we will see different results in an even bigger game.

Not true at all. Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, there have been 18 times when a team went into a playoff game with a chance to complete a three-game season sweep, according to STATS, Inc. Those teams are 11-7

Whats so funny? Its a fact. Don McNabb has been to as many Super Bowls and more NFC championships than the Panthers franchise, and we've been around longer. The Panthers could only dream of having a QB as good as McNabb. When he came in the league Beurlein was our starter, now we dont know who's it gonna be. Yet McNabb is still playing strong for Philly 10 years later. We covet that kinda stability at QB. Once again this season he led Philly to back to back winning seasons and a playoff berth. No Panther QB has ever done that.

    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
