Hey Husker

I thought Iowa would win. I thought Ohio State would cover. Other than that, both Penn State and Wisconsin had real advantages playing on the surface of the moon, and God knows how Auburn let Northwestern back in that game. All in all a very good showing by my favorite time-warped conference.

Now please add a conference championship game like the rest of us.

Yeah Big 10. First winning bowl season in 7 years. LOL.

If Iowa plays GTech a week later they probably lose. But like Husker mentioned, Big 10 gets like 50 days between games.

In addition to a conf champ game..how about getting your math right?? You have 11 teams and still call yourself the Big 10.

In fact, it's the Big 10 powers that be that is one of the main blockers of a playoff system.

Because they know with the exception of maybe Ohio St, they don't send many teams past the 1st rd, thus losing easy money from bowl tie ins.

So somehow 50 days off between games is a GOOD thing?

Funny, here in Big 10/11 country everybody complains about that as a reason why they suck in bowl games traditionally.

I contend that it is always a road game and the teams are built for crap weather, not sunny and warm, but whatever, I'm proud of me boyz this year, so suck it Trebeks.

:P

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
