Who would you rather have? Moore or Palmer?

Palmer is a proven commodity? I mean moore has proven nothing, but how many big games has palmer won? he hasn't been the same since the knee injury, and obviously his elbow is still bothering him, because he sucked this year. Palmer a few years ago sure. I don't think hes that great anymore.

There something to be said for having a seasoned veteran at the helm, but in order to build a succesful franchise with multiple winning seasons you have to develop young talent. Carson's career is growing short, while Moore's is just beginning. I say we stay with Moore. He's showed me enough this season to think that he might just have bright future ahead of him with some more experience.

Not to sound overly optimistic about Moore, but why would you guys want Palmer? The guy just tanked as hard as Delhomme did in the playoffs. He overthrew nearly every pass, whether it was 10 feet over the head of the receiver or 10 feet behind them.

I'm sorry but I don't want an elite REGULAR SEASON quarterback. I'd rather stick with Moore in hopes of him not being a post season bust(no one knows yet)

Plus, Palmer hasn't been the same since his injury.

Tom Brady had a bad game, that makes Matt Moor a better option.

Good Grief

Carson Palmer is 30 years old and has been in one playoff game. Tom Brady is 32, 14-3 in the playoffs, and 3 super bowl rings. You can't even mention these 2 guys in the same sentence.

Palmer is a solid QB, nothing absolutley amazing but not a QB that will lose a game for you either. What happend vs. the Jets well ithappens I mean we lost to Buffalo, maybe not in the playoffs but thats not the point.

Either way Palmer is getting old. I would rather have a QB <28 if getting anyone but I want Moore. I don't see why the panthers need to look around. The panthers named Jake the starter when he preformed as Matt is preforming he just had a whole season to take us to the playoffs and SB.

He is cheap, he wins, he's mobile (finally a change), he has been on the team the longest of back up qbs, he knows our system, he has experience...what else do you want to start a guy? People are too afraid to say start him then watch him bomb the season but I say who teh hell cares, he shown he needs to start so start him already and if he f**ks up that badly (which I doubt) give someone else a shot its not difficult.

Palmer, no question. While Moore will get better, I doubt he will ever be good as Palmer is. Palmer is one of the top 10 QB in the NFL right now & I know Moore will never reach that status.

Palmer IS NOT a top 10 QB!

in passing yardage...

in 09 he was ranked 16th. (13 int's and 6 fumbles)

in 08 he played 4 games (and had 4 int's and 2 fumbles)

in 07 he was ranked 16th (20 int's)

in 06 he was ranked 6th (had 15 fumbles and 13 int's)

in 05 he was ranked 2nd (12 int's and 5 fumbles)

in 04 he was ranked 23rd

how does this rank him amongst the top 10 in QB's?
