Holy crap I'm gonna miss the playoff game!

Just realized I have tickets for the Flyers-Leafs game in Philly (7PM) on the 10th. Sonofabitch! Don't even think it would be worth taking a mini-tv in as I probably couldn't get any TV reception anyway. Ballz. WTF am I gonna do. Not going to the hockey game isn't an option....I spent $250 on tickets because my wife has never been to the Wachovia Center for a game. Crap....why the hell didn't I think to check the playoff schedule before buying tix? If only we'd have held on against the Giants, we woulda ended up playing on the 11th.

If not going isn't an option, theres nothing else you can do. Otherwise, Sell 'em. Try Ebay.

Could do that....wonder if I'd have any luck on short notice. Should see if my sister wants 'em for her family (they're all Iggles fans).

Er, no. Sell 'em to me. :)

They're tix in Philly, not for the Panthers game :)

Yeah, sell 'em and get tix to another hockey game...

This was really the only one we could get to....Philly is 2.5hrs from here and we could only do a Saturday night.

Watching the Flyers vs watching the Panthers in a playoff game.

If you have to ask........

I didn't ask, I stated....tell ya what, send me the $250 and I'll skip the game. Missing the game is bothersome, throwing $250 out the window, even more so.

Dont go.

Sure....next time I need to take a crap, I'll make sure I wipe with a couple hundreds and a fifty.

I gotta tell ya Shinner...and I don't know you, and I realize a wife is involved and I know how tricky that can get, but there is no way in hell that this would even be a conflict. It's difficult for me to weigh in on this without my disdain for hockey getting in the way, but I can't help it. Good luck with your conundrum.

easy decision for me. SELL SELL SELL

You can go to a hockey game anytime. I would sell the hell out them, use the money to go to the Panther game and be apart of Panther History.

but you do what you want.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
