The case for DeAngelo as MVP....

I think the case was made when adallastiger told us Williams was a great back. And boy did he tell us. Do you all remember him telling us, cause he did.

If he didn't, we be cellar dwellers right now so you guys better thank him. I'm talking large amounts of cash and your unmarried daughters. Maybe a few head of cattle too.

...no, you have it all wrong. Personally, I think Matt Ryan deserves MVP... but I do believe DeAngelo should be somewhere top three. But a strong case can be made for Deangelo

...and no, I am not such a DeAngelo homer that I would want him to be MVP under those conditions.

But when I told everyone at the beginning of the year that he was the best back in the league, Adrian Peterson included...I never, ever had any doubts.

None, whatsoever. I wonder what everyone out there thinks of the AP comparisons now....LOL!

    • Yeah and Phil Snow has the second best defense in the league 😄 I'm reminded of 2015 where we used to build up huge leads in the first half just to wind up winning by less than a single score because our second half performance stunk. We built up some pretty good rushing stats over an early stretch in the year. Didn't really help us against the Saints though, or in some of our other losses. Hell, go back and look at past Super Bowl winners. Is it always the team that's ranked first in one category or another? After all, stat rankings always tell you who the best team is, right? 🤔
    • Didn’t say it does, Scot.  But as I pointed out earlier, most of the negativity in this thread is due to one of two reasons: 1) Guys that don’t want anyone competing with or taking the starting gig from their boy Bryce. or  2) Guys who dislike/hate Deion and Shedeur.     Again, statistically, there are no grounds to pick Bryce as a starter over another QB over the last three seasons.  And statistically, what Shedeur is doing as a rookie is impressive thus far, whether he was Deion’s son or not.  So if it’s not statistics and the eye test, then why are people so fired up about it?  The tells are there.
