Demaryius Thomas

is a video. He's raw as hell, but is a monster athletically and more talented than both Benn and Golden Tate. A project, I'd only draft him in the second round, if he's there, if they'd already signed a receiver in free agency to start.

umm, he seems slower than 4.3, and he plays stiff as hell... I've never seen a WR with a back that rigid...

I think you can tell from some of his highlights he has speed.Put that with his size and some tell will love him

The prob is he is very raw..and playing in that offense he has a lot of single coverage and him running like 1 route..lol

I'm with SLJ (as usual) I think Thomas is over-rated as they get. I've seen him play for three years and I'm not impressed, at all. If we got him in the 6th or 7th I would be ok with it because he would be an interesting project. People thought the same thing about Carter though...

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
