Yeah, injuries not withstanding QBs can play longer than pretty much other position outside of kicker, punter, and long snapper. Elite QBs are practically expected to play at a high level well I to their late 30s now. You definitely don't expect that out of any other positions outside of the aforementioned specialists.

Yeah, Peppers was an absolute physical freak among physical freaks. That guy could afford to lose two steps and still be on par with most other edge rushers while still being 30+ pounds heavier than them.
