What the hell......?!? Anyone who think we should've signed him before this week, I want to hear your POV on this right now & think it was a bad idea to not keep him. That's almost much as Haynesworth got from the Redskins & we can't afford to pay Pep that much. It clear he was all about the money. If you think he wasn't about the money, you're lying. I hope your career is over soon with no ring, "Benedict Arnold" Pep.

Well, back in 07 we offered to make him the highest paid defensive player in the history of the game and he said: "No thanks".

Then we made a last-ditch effort to sign him for 14 or 15 million a year and he said: "No thanks".

So what more could we have done? We can afford to pay Peppers as much as anyone, we just had the good sense not to do it.

Everybody that thought his agent was a hack is really biting back some bile right now. He took the Panthers for $17 million last year and then turned that into $92 million from the Bears. Ridiculous.

His agent is a hack, he's got only one client and Peppers is a "can't miss".

It's gonna be interesting to see how Pep does when he has a series of off games and gets crucified by the Chicago media.

I expect he might be a monster of midway this year though and will let off once the fanbase is madly in love with him. I would love to be his bank account. He looks like a kid in the biggest candy store. I would be smiling too.

He got his change in our bank and now is getting a lot more in the bank of Chicago. I would be happy too if I didn't have to bust my ass to get that much more.

Good luck Pep. I will miss seeing you in BOA as a Panther and hope the best but I won't be cheering for you the next time you are playing in BOA. I will be booing at you like I always do when the opposing team takes the field.

unfortunately, i think pepp will do well this season. tag teaming with tommie harris and brian urlacher... but i think his success stops after this coming season.

and just for the record, Jordan Gross is gonna keep Peppers on his back when we play da bears. he won't even touch Moore, mark my words.

Yeah because we will be rolling away from him. I think Otah can handle Brown easily.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
