Burning my Peppers jersey at the bears game

If ya'll decide to burn them, let me know. I got all 3 colors, the two tone one and a grey one. I'd rather burn them than save them after he said he did not want to play for us, then our franchise puts the tag on him anyways. The held our team hostage

If you people get the money together to get me out of jail, I'll jump my rail, and run out there and sack him!

Riiiiiight, you mean money for the hospital bill after all 280 plus pounds of Peppers pancaked your ass into oblivion. Sorry, but I think you'd be on the losing end physically and financially.

Put your money where your mouth is and you will see. He is only taller than me. He is slower, weaker, and does not have the will to win like I do. Trust me, we have lifted weights together for a very long time.

Are you a serious fan or what. Julius Peppers has been selected to more pro bowls and all pro teams then Mike Minter. Julius Peppers was selected to the All Decade Team, an honor Mike Minter never received. Julius Peppers went out and commanded the highest paid contract ever given to a non quarterback, Mike Minter never would have had that honor.

Your just another one of the morons who think Julius Peppers takes plays off. I am sure you are one of those people who think Jared Allen is a better DE then Peppers as well. Julius Peppers led the league in games with sacks. I am sure if Julius Peppers got to abuse the Packers twice a year he would also put up as many sacks as Jared Allen. The fact that he leads the league in in games with sacks shows he is out there ever game giving it his all. Also if you actually watch games and dont just follow what people on this message board say, you will notice that Peppers is in every play. No matter where the ball is or where the tackle is made, Peppers is in the middle of it all.

So what about all of us who sat there at the game and actually WATCHED him do nothing on those plays? Literally sat there and watched him move his feet and do nothing on the play....not basing that off anything anyone on this board has said. I saw it with my own eyes.- when he was with the Panthers.

Just saying what I saw.

"you will notice that Peppers is in every play. No matter where the ball is or where the tackle is made, Peppers is in the middle of it all."

I think you might be confusing Julius Peppers with Jon Beason

:D

just kidddinnng dont get ur panties in a bunch.

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
