Again, do you really believe that "people in the black community are forced to join gangs just to feel safe"...?

Yes I believe and know that.

There is violence around you, if you don't know anyone you will become a target. Gang members will rob a house if you don't know anyone do you think your house will be safe?

If you don't know anyone in the hood or try to mind your business you're asking for trouble. Again violence and crime. Either fit in or become a target. It's really that simple.

In Charlotte?

Any particular neighborhood you'd point out as an example?

Man you are special.

It happens in all states. Any low poverty community will always have these issues. This goes back to the 80's. There is nothing to do in a low poverty neighborhood but commit crime and deal drugs. When you combine those things it will just create a cycle. It's kind of crazy you don't understand this.

I'm guessing you never grew up in poverty?

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
