I like it. My biggest worry though is Demaryius Thomas is moving up in value fast. He's now ranked the #2 prospect for WR's, and some mocks have him going in the top 20 :(

That guy is going to be an absolute monster I can guarantee that. I love the way he catches with his hands. I think it'll all depend on someone teaching him to run routes and mold him a bit.

I'm betting he goes in the 1st 5 picks of the 2nd. Sucks because I think we all see something special in him but I doubt the Panthers would draft him even if he did make it to there 2nd.

the good news is that quite a few teams fixed their WR needs through free agency. UNFORTUNATELY, one team that didn't was the Jets :\ I bet you they will take him with their 1st rounder since it's like the 29th pick :\

That and then you have to start worrying about someone trading up to the 1st of the 2nd to get him. His triangle numbers, YAC ability, and hands are well documented and the more a HC/GM/Owner watch film of him I think the more they will become enamored. And this could cause one of them to pay the price to move up to get a special athlete/receiver.

I agree somehwhat about Thomas (being a bust)...I love his size, hands, blocking ability, and physical nature but he will have to learn how to play WR all over again. Right now we need someone a little more polished. He may be good down the road but for the immediate future I don't see him making a big impact, not to mention it typically takes receivers a while to get adjusted and he will need more time. I would rather have an Eric decker, Andre Roberts, or (lord help me) the kid from USC, Damien Williams.

If I were the panthers right now, the first thing I want to do is to give Thomas an interview. There's a good chance that he won't be able to run on his pro day and even if he could, I doubt that he would be 100%. Ask him about routes, give him some hypothetical situations and ask him how he would sell the route, time his moves etc. Get some feel for his football intelligence. If he's just a physical phenomenon, I don't want to waste a 2nd for him. WR's who succeed in the nfl need a certain level of smarts, there are a lot of physically gifted wide outs who flop in the pros.
