Do you have faith in Dwayne Jarrett's ability to step up next season?

prior to the game against the saints i was ready to move on.

after that game i was ready to give him another look. i have an open mind about him. he's cheap right now and there's not really a slew of talent pushing behind him so there's no harm in keeping him around and seeing what he can do with moore at QB.

faith? nope...not really. just an open mind.

Don't remember who mentioned it, but I think it's only been brought up once or twice in thread that we do have a new receivers coach. There is every possibility that this will make a difference.

Mind you, it'd be stretching - at least right now - to be confident that this makes all the difference in the world, but it's going to be a factor.

new WR coach + new QB = new possibilities.

He hasn't shown anything, to make me believe he can be a #2 in this league.

He does make some nice catches, but he couldn't even beat out an older, slower Moose.

You people are hilarious, the Panthers had a QB who was known for forcing the ball into coverage to receivers he had chemistry with over letting the open guy make the play. On top of that Fox is notorious for playing veterans well past their prime even if a better option is on the roster. (for those who even think to debate this, tell me why Deangelo was on the bench his second year while mr hopscotch himself Deshaun Foster started. I fully expect DJ to start and play well with Moore at QB, 800-900 yards and 8-10 touchdowns.

You can qualify it however you want.

Jake being the QB, Fox wanting to ride Moose into the ground.

All those are excuses.

The fact is, the guy hasn't shown anything to make anyone believe that he can handle being a starter in this league.

And like I said before, I hope I'm wrong. I want to be wrong. I'd love for him to show that he can start, and excell opposite Steve Smith. Any receiver worth a damn should be able to excell opposite Steve Smith.
