Captains for next year?

Aren't there like 2 captains on both the offense & defense? But I would say Moore & Smitty are the "C" on offense & Beason and Harris on the defense. At least Harris has that leadership thing about him. :)

I don't even really think about the actual C part as much as the leadership part. Even if they aren't named captains, I feel that those players are the ones that will ultimately show the leadership necessary to win the game. And I also think they will have a nice C on their jersey.

Also, just to note, Smith might not be the Beason equivalent on offense, but his passion is something to rally behind.

i'm pretty sure there's two captains on offense and defense, and one on special teams.

if kasay is still here by week one he'll be the obvious choice of ST captain. defense i'd say beason and harris are the obvious choices, and maybe gross and either williams or smith on offense.

Beason, Kasay, and Gross will probably be captains in 2010 as they were in 2009. The other captaincy on offense will probably between Matt Moore and Steve Smith. I expect Moore as I can't think of any team in which the QB was not the captain. Chris Harris or Thomas Davis on defense.

    • Cam will never make it.  In no universe, does he qualify.     Olsen, should make it for being then first TE to get back to back to back 1000 yards, but he's not a lock.    It's not political with Steve Smith.  It just takes receivers a long time to make it.   I doubt Davis ever makes it.     Luke will be the next guy.  Who knows when.
    • Been a week for harsh off topic news... The shooting that happened in New York City today was at 345 Park Avenue, the building that houses the NFL's main offices. No indication that anyone related to the NFL was hurt though. At least, not that I've seen.
    • DL good,but secondary sucks,emmmm...
