Game 70: Bobcats @ Wizards

We are coming down the home stretch and it is time to buckle down and pick up wins to propel us to our first playoff appearance. It starts with a must win tonight against the Wizards. This week is a relatively easy week but we cannot take any night off, with Chicago right on our tail. We travel to Washington to face the Wizards who have lost 11 straight. Let's make it 12! Go Bobcats!

I'm probably by myself on this one but i'm not investing too much time into watching the Bobcats down the stretch. For one, they should clean up the remaining of the schedule and get into the playoffs. After that I might sack up and purchase a playoff ticket, have some fun that night thinking we'll actually make a good run to the finals. But after that...in reality, The NBA even more so then Baseball has the cards loaded for the higher seeds. Its nothing against the Bobcats, really not even complaining about the NBA. Its just how I see it, at least for this season for us.

Maybe too i'm the guy that Bob Johnson is pointing a finger at. But fans are not stupid anymore, if they ever were to begin with. Maybe its time for Sports franchises to adjust more to its market rather then thinking entertainment for a night is the end all be all product. I'm not buyin it.

Huge game and I hope that Andray Blatche scores all of Washington's points and get's all their rebs, ass, steals and blocks too.

He is on my fantasy team and Im closing in on some $.

That's an odd stat. I guess Bball players do get a lot of ass.

    • If only those guys grew on trees? The 2015 team was really special.  That was such an incredible year until the Super Bowl. What happened was the owner let the football people handle football decisions.  We had a front office that made some really good decisions.  Just hit on FAs and draft picks at a high level.  Those guys became GREAT players.  Our head coach held the team to a standard, but allowed them to be themselves.  That let so many of those guys grow into vocal leaders and tone setters.  Then we had Cam play lights out for the entire year.  We had a defense led by Luke, one of the best to ever play.  We had guys like Greg and TD who were so smart and tenacious. That was a special team.  The biggest question is how do we bring that back?  We don't because we can't.  Instead, we need to build up the team again.  Bryce is not Cam, duh.  Maybe he's not even the guy next season.  But there are some dudes like DB, Horn, Chubba who are all high character, effort productive players. As team, they need to lean into what they do well, and give Bryce his opportunities to prove himself.  If not, you keep building the best team and work on that QB.
    • Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was less than thrilled after the Miami Dolphins lost against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, 27-24, dropping their record to 1-4 on the season. "He was really frustrated, just like I was," head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Monday. "We talked about the challenge ahead to get ready for the Los Angeles Chargers, and that was really the extent of it." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25257873-mike-mcdaniel-admits-dolphins-owner-was-really-frustrated-after-loss-panthers
