Bioware Countdown

The Saltman

Heard this first from Rodeo but:

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6254085.html

As a sign that things aren't likely to be slowing down any time soon at the development house, BioWare today launched a mysterious countdown timer. The countdown timer appears on Mass Effect's, Dragon Age's, and BioWare's company-wide Web sites and is set to expire on Monday, March 29 at 9 a.m. PDT.

So what does the countdown timer pertain to? One topic that seems like it can be ruled out is Star Wars: The Old Republic. Developed and published in conjunction with LucasArts, The Old Republic's Web site does not boast the same ticking clock that BioWare's other Web sites prominently display.

I read on massively.com that Bioware PR said it was not game related, but is more community focused.

No idea wtf that could mean and why it would be worth starting a countdown for.

yeah probably some info about the star wars game is my bet.

they added 'community event' under the timer on the pages now.

it's like it got too popular and they were like 'oh poo people are expecting something big,' so they put a disclaimer under it.

i would guess it's some kind of contest for their forums or something.

or maybe they're launching an Old Republic forum.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
