2024 Mock Draft Report 7.0

What I don't like about these mocks is they make trades but don't list everything we get in return or the return is weak.

Trade down - fine (depending on details).  Drafting Polk with AD Mitchell on the board is an epic fail.  Every single credible mock and ranking I have seen has AD Mitchell as a 1st rd talent and Polk as 3rd or lower other than this one.

    • I’m still here, and I would still take what he does 100 out of 100 times as a rookie over what Bryce has been for the majority of 3 years. The first pick was tough as it looked like the throw was there but Shedeur didnt layer the throw with enough touch.  They buff blitzed and the rusher dropped so, I’m not sure he saw him,  rookie mistake.  The second one, he threw a back shoulder throw, hit Jeudy dead in the chest and he tried to body catch it, popped off and then Jaylon Johnson picked it off, so that wasn’t his fault.  I didn’t see number three that well, but that one just looked like a bad throw.  Also, if I’m not mistaken, the Bears are tops in the league in takeaways.     Shedeur pushes the ball and he’s a rookie.  We’ve spent 2+ seasons begging Bryce to just try.  The Bears are a good, opportunistic team.  Bad games happen.  *shrug*
