Does Bryce have any further excuses for this upcoming year?

Offensive minded coach- check

MEGA money spent on fortifying the guards- check

Trade for a #1 WR- check

Draft a #1 WR- check

Draft the first RB taken off the board- check

Has a reliable WR veteran- check

He has more tools now then Cam had. I am not expecting him to be an All-Pro but he has no excuse to look like a middle school QB out there this year

Time to step up big man

Bryce never had a chance year one, hate on him all you want. He had 0 line, 0 receivers, 0 running back. 0 defense. He wasn’t the best qb in college for no reason. Give him a chance with a built up team that is better than high school. A team with a direction. Let’s rebuild, and it’s around Young.

Given that we are likely to be only in a marginally better spot than last year, yes. There excuses will be there. Regardless, if he struggles again then the league is going to start looking at him like previous bust QB's. He will get a shot as a backup and journeyman elsewhere and if that doesn't pan out, the options will get far shorter(pun not intended).

Although he is likely in a bad spot in 2024, he has to show something or the pool of "It's the Panthers that are dragging him down" folks will start saying, "Why hasn't he improved? Is he fixable?"

    • He has made some good throws yes. His arm isn’t great by any professional measure though It might be decent enough, but the poor footwork inhibits it.  So he has to really focus on that and from what I’ve seen he is not consistent.    peace.
    • If only Bryce were 8'1" then CJ wouldn't have needed Woody Marks to carry him against the Titans nor the defense to carry him with 3 picks vs. Cooper Rush. If he were a real QB, he'd have thrown for over 250yds and the Texans wouldn't be 2-3. /s See? I can do the same dumb, lame poo that y'all do. Doesn't this make the board a better experience overall? 🙂
    • Their defense is on track to be worse than ours last year. Their run D is in the bottom half but their pass D is horrible.    32nd overall D, 32nd passD, 23rd rush D We are going to have to throw the ball against them, which means down field where they are vulnerable. Problem is Turnover Fred struggles to push the ball down the field and we have the 26th ranked pass offense. Running will help but will have to beat them through the air. On the flip side, Dallas’ offense is awesome.    1st overall, 3rd pass, 8th run.    But Evero’s defense is ranked 12th right now with the pass D around 10th and rush D around 14th.    If we can take care of the football (looking at Bryce) and we make plays down the field (also looking at Bryce) we can win, yes.
