I can cheer as loud as I want from home but if I get too loud at the stadium there is a chance of being kicked out.

Some part of me thinks this is why Jerry canned his sons and now has someone else running day to day operations. Its a very corporate feel to the crowd at BOA. Hopefully that will change.

Our stadium experience blows in comparison to others around the league!

Yeah, I would have voted pie if there was one. USUALLY the stadium experience is better, but our subdued atmosphere would almost give watching it at home better. If I were a Green Bay or Patriots fan...game experience, hands down, over viewing at home.

Well, that's because a lot of the PSL's are corporate owned, and they give the tickets to clients that may or may not want to see the Panthers play. Look at all of those little tents with the picket fences around the stadium on gameday- those are mostly luxury box seat folk, but it does give an idea that everybody ain't there for the game.

I'm allowed to stand up and cheer at home without some old fat ass behind me telling me to sit down. Home > Stadium.

Yep, to add insult to injury it's usally a scalped ticket purchaser telling PSL owners how to watch the game. THAT is horse sheeet!!!

Plain and simple the NFL is pricing alot of there fans out. I had PSL's for 4 years and then eventually got tired of the countless comericals on the jumbotrons instead of replays. And the dumb half-time shows. Basically the in game exp got more expenisive and really didnt get any better.

So instead of throwing down 800 a year on tix (including the ridiculous that is preseason) I just bought a 42 inch HD flat screen and can watch at home without all the hassle. Not to mention when I jump up in excitement there isnt some jackass behind me telling me to sit down. Bc everyone that is at my house will already be on there feet.

Bottom line. This artical is right on. The stadium experience does need to improve.

I find it funny how everyone who wants to make a point about home being better, mentions how big their TV is. lol

I've been to every game the past five seasons and love every second of it. I like being out in the fresh air, my seats are great, no one has told me to sit down, there has rarely been an obnoxious drunk near me, everyone around me has been there the entire time so I know them by name, during commercials I talk with the people I go with, the bathroom is never crowded, and it's a five minute drive from my house.

It makes my week. Well, if we lose it sucks, but I still have a fun time.

    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
    • This thread is dumb. But I do think canales gets too cute with play calling and I don't think he's a good coach
